What is the inspiration behind your work?

I am inspired by the diversity of women in my life and the world around me. I love to explore the idea of growth with whimsical flowers and also my faith inspires a lot of the encouraging words and lettering that I do.

What do you hope your work will inspire within others?

I am often told that my work makes people feel joy, peace, and has a calming mood to it. I really want others to feel seen and welcome in my work and also inspired to be free in who they uniquely are.

My favorite season is… Fall

My sign is… Capricorn

My morning beverage of choice is… Tea

My go-to self-care is…Time alone journaling or planning. It's therapeutic being alone in a room with my own thoughts and a journal/notebook is the best form of self-care for me.

Behind the Collections:

What is the inspiration behind your work?

Everyday women who look like me. Women that I grew up with - my mom, aunts, cousins, and friends. I want to represent African American women in the best light. I'm inspired by my customers and their desire to live well. I create images that inspire them to get up, show up & go after their dreams.

What do you hope your work will inspire within others?

I hope that my work encourages women to pursue their purpose and the vision they have for their life. I want to show them it's okay to carve out your own unique path to success. I hope it encourages them to make a plan and execute it without excuses.
